You are beautiful. I decided to start this blog to capture my journey to wellness. What is wellness? Here’s a definition straight from dictionary.com.
1. the quality or state of being healthy in body and mind, especially as the result of deliberate effort.
2. an approach to healthcare that emphasizes preventing illness and prolonging life, as opposed to emphasizing treating diseases.
Who doesn’t want to be healthy? I believe we all do. The problem lies in our fast paced lives and go-go-go culture. We are getting sicker and fatter. People say they don’t have time to shop for healthy food or prepare meals or exercise or take time to relax. Well, when we don’t take the time, our bodies will force us to through sickness, stress, and even possibly disease. So, join me on this journey. You’ll find tips, recipes, and more!
